It has been a great pleasure for my husband and myself to work with Katie on a personal and professional level. Katie McCullough Simmons provided photographic coverage of the USA/Africa Trade Representatives Reception with guest speaker President Clinton during the 1999 W.T.O. meetings in Seattle. During the three hour event, she photographed spontaneous and posed shots of members of the United States Congress, multi-national CEOs, and international trade ministers from the United States and over a dozen African nations.

In addition, she photographed President Clinton both while he spoke from the stage and as he "worked the line" shaking hands and greeting guests. Not only were Katie's pictures of high quality capturing the joy of the evening, but she achieved this while conducting herself in the most professional of manners. She had a natural instinct for being in the right place at the right moment, immediately gained the U.S. Secret Service's trust, and unobtrusively approached these high-profile guests for photos. Her professionalism and adeptness in such settings combined with her excellent photographic ability inspired me to hire her again on future events.
